CHECKERS:

Everyone's favourite sewer-dwelling, super-heroic crazy man. Checkers lives in a world created by his own imagination. He fights crime, but often, his imagination gets the better of him.

THUMBO:

Checkers' own little pet thumb-sized pink elephant. To Checkers, Thumbo represents the last rermaining symbol of pure goodness and hope - Small, endangered, and always in need of a guardian.

SCRUMPLEY:

This little blue penguin is Checkers' hard-working friend. Scrumpley represents the 'voice of reason' for Checkers, and even though he is imaginary, he is what keeps Checkers in touch with reality.

SPANK:

-The Monkey. This flatulent fellow is Checkers friend who keeps him entertained with toilet humour, stupidity, slapstick, and other silly monkey business.

The CHICKEN DUMBSTICK:

Genetically engineered by the Mr Happy's chain of restaurants to be the 'perfect chicken' (for fast-food purpouses). All of their guts and vital organs are in their heads, leaving the body %100 edible meat. They simply snap off their heads and drop the bodies into a deep-fryer to quickly serve up to paying customers. The Chicken Dumbtsticks are engineered to never need to eat, drink or even move. They have no feeling, nobody knows if they're even conscious.

Mr. HAPPY:

Owner and manager of the Mr Happy's intergalactic chain of retaurants, that has taken over the universe with fast-food. Mr Happy is the personification of a greedy capitalist, who would do anything for a buck, including drag-netting the sewers and grinding his own family for ingredients.

CRUSTAINE CRUGGET:

The Cruggets are a family of radioactive cannibalistic, devil-worshipping hillbillies. Living on a ranch next to a leaking nuclear reactor for generations, they are the lowest possible form of scum.

Crustaine is a ditsy young thing, the only daughter of the Crugget family, and wife to her brother Clem. She is uncontrollably horny, chasing after any guy who comes near her.

CLEMMY CRUGGET:

Clemmy is the eldest son of the Crugget family, and brother-husband to Crustaine. Clem is always angry and looking for a fight, and despicably cruel in all of his exploits.

CRAPPY CRUGGET (aka SPIKEY MIKEY)

Crappy is the youngest son of the Crugget family. He is nick-named 'Spikey-Mikey' because he was born with a rare skin disease that has the appearance of sharp 'spines' protruding out from all over his body. When someone is pricked by these spines, they are injected with something that temporarily incapacitates them.

CREWDY CRUGGET:

The matriarch of the Cruggets, Crewdy is mother, or 'Maw' to Crustaine, Clem, Crappy and Crunchy, and wife to Crud. Not quite all there, kind of like a large moose, but don't get her mad, or she will charge.

CRUD CRUGGET:

Patriarch of the Cruggets, father, or 'Paw'of the family, and not-exactly faithful husband to Crewdy. Crud is a 'Smelvis' impersonator, who earns his living (and 'benefits' on the side) by going on stage and performing hits by his all-time hero. (He's a bit of a celebrity where he's from.)

CROTCHEDDY CRUGGET:

'Great ol' Uncle Pappy' as he's known to the rest of the Crugget family. Crotcheddy is is so old that he is falling apart. Stuck in the ways of the past, he is a priest for his devil-worshipping beliefs.

CRUNCHY CRUGGET:

The middle son of the Crugget family, different from the rest, quiet and artistic, he is locked in the barn with a bucket over his head to conceal his freakish face. Crunchy tends to horribly kill things when they get too close, which is another reason why he's locked up.

APOCALYPPOPOTAMUS:

A very dangerous renegade warlord/assassin/terrorist. Apocalyppo is a creature of pure rage, he believes that everything can be solved with brute force. He is always seething with anger, and all he wants is to destroy the world.

RUBBERFACE and MALIKINS:

Rubberface is a mad scientist who changed himslf permanently into a clown, to (unsuccessfully) hide from his mental torment. Always rushing and anxious and twitchy, he suffers from uncotrollable spasms that momentarily transform him into a huge beast. He knows that he is but a figment of Checkers' imagination, and believes killing him will put an end to his own incessant torment.

Rubberface shares a close bond with his pet Malikins (aka, Kitty, Mali, the Mal, The Kins, Kinsy, etc...) Who also torments him with her constant meowing. She literally drives him mad, but he canot live without her.

MORRIS THE MURDEROUS MOOSE:

A complete and utter psychopath. He kills and tortures people for pleasure, then makes clothing and other items out of their body parts. His favourite victims are the rich and aristocratic, and those who are brainwashed by society. He enjoys associating amongst them, pretending to be one of them, but is really just thinking of new and different ways to kill them.

OVERLORD KIBBLES:

A true super-villain, bent on taking over the world and enslaving humanity. He was created by Checkers in a freak microwave accident, which cause his brain to advance at an exponential rate. Thusly, he has a personal vendetta against Checkers for removing him from his old life as a blissfully ignorant hamster. Kibbles is frustrated because he is so intelligent, but is trapped in a tiny hamster body (Don't ever call him cute!) He takes his anger out by creating giant war technology and destroying stuff. Kibbles deals mainly in the far future, when he has control of the world.

OFFICER McGRUFF

A hardened veteran cop, who is always, somehow, only two days from retirement. Along with his partner Kucky, he is the the only uncorrupt police officer on the force. He is ridiculed by the others when he fails to catch Checkers. He is not a badguy, but it is his job to apprehend Checkers, because he is told that he is a criminal.

OFFICER KUCKY:

A hapless rookie cop, who has been partnered with McGruff learn the ropes and try to catch Checkers. He and McGruff usually end up in a bad situation because of Kucky's blunders. (-But he means well.)
